Ainsley Kaedar Stewardess of the Pact
Human Envoy
Level 1
When Jim and Cora Kaedar departed for a space cruise vacation they never imagined that farewell was indeed the last time they would see their daughter Ainsley. Space cruises departed about once a week from Absalom Station, the middle class denizens would often save up enough to take a short one month vacation cruise. Jim and Cora left with their good friends Jase and Larrina (a much older couple).
After saying goodbye to her parents that day Ainsley returned home with her older brother Grayson. Two weeks had passed and the siblings heard nothing from their parents. Their parents never answering the comm, never sending messages back, and worse even station based authorities couldn't contact the ship.
Every once in a while tragedy strikes and a cruiser is lost. The tragedy is mourned, the affected grieve, and the public carries on. At the memorial ceremony Ainsley and Grayson wept for the loss of their parents and offered comfort to Quinn Lark the only child of Jase and Larrina Lark.
A few weeks later Ainsley, Grayson, and Quinn met at the Lark house. Quinn suspiciously made sure the shades were drawn, the room was clear, and checked the room for listener bugs. Odd behavior for Quinn, he was just a good honest dockworker. But Quinn explained that the vacation cruiser was attacked.
Ainsley and Grayson looked at Quinn and sadly admitted that they accepted the possibility of that fact. Pirates in the system can be ruthless, a problem for the authorities. Quinn went on to show them a vid message sent to Quinn during the attack. Gray bulb-headed aliens wielding strange weapons were slaughtering the passengers.
Quinn went on to explain the conspiracies of shape-changers and these aliens being reported at all pivotal Pact World tragedies and turning points, all the way back to even before the Gap. Grayson feared Quinn had gone insane, everyone knew these conspiracies were fake. Just smugglers, pirates, or barbarians slaughtering for sport disguised as "The Unknown".
Ainsley however not in tune with Quinn's obsession and hysterics, saw what she saw. Ainsley a simple daughter of a shipwright was now on a different path. She decided to join The Stewards, convinced that the Pact if enforced can truly bring peace and prosperity. New races must be included, old enemies must adhere, and those who violate the Pact must be brought to justice.
Ainsley quickly ascended in her training and higher ranking Stewards noticed. They gave her special assignments, specified training, and recognized Ainsley's innate talent for leadership. Her mentor Mar Corliss was grooming her to be the captain of a Steward Capital vessel tasked with the enforcement of the pact as well as indoctrinating new societies into the Pact. While Mar is sent on a two year assignment the Stewards have seen fit to allow Ainsley to grow her skills by adventuring.
Ainsley has agreed that working for the Starfinder society is the next best step to acquire knowledge, resources, experience, adventure, and answers. Still in contact with the Stewards and her mentor she aims to explore space and enforce peace, justice, and fairness. Interested very much in the goals of the Exo-Guardians, a subgroup within the Starfinder Society.
Ainsley too desires to helm her own vessel and bring peace to the galaxy. An honorable, young, charismatic leader Ainsley is loyal to the Pact. Ainsley also desires to find out more about those who murdered her parents. Not for vengeance but to include them in the Pact. Ainsley believes any reasonable society or group can be brought to see the terms of the Pact as not only reasonable but preferable.
