OOC: Jackle, sounds good to me! Random appreciates any “muscle” he can get.
Kaliban, although I pictured the airship as an early 20th century metal steamer, in fact Lyrandar airships are made of a magical buoyant wood called soarwood (Eberron p.234). And Detect Magic penetrates up to 3 feet of wood (PHB p.231). Still doesn’t mean it’ll work, but it has a chance. Also—doesn’t ritual casting mean Kaliban doesn’t have to have the spell prepared? He can cast it as a ritual by adding 10 minutes to the casting time, so long as it’s a spell he knows (PHB pp.201-02).
Vanna, makes sense to me that someone with a good Persuasion check should chat with Grilsha. (Random’s is +4.) I’ve been giving it some thought and I think we should wait to approach her until AFTER the airship leaves Trollanport, its first stop, on its way to Korranberg. Thoughts?

(Ritual casting only works that way for a wizard, or if you possess a ritual book as per the feat. For a prepared caster like a cleric or paladin, you must have the spell in question prepared to ritual it.)

I've got +5 so not much difference. I have a feeling it will be harder to find her than we think, she knows her disguise is blown

Yup, you're right, Kaliban. Have to read the cleric's ritual casting rule in conjunction with the ritual casting rule. Silly rulebook.

ya she diffidently does know she's been recognized at this point. The moment we reach port she's might try and run and lose us in the crowd and pick up the next ship and theres the fact she also knows disguise self and can appear as anyone so Vanna is right in thinking it will be harder than it seems. I don't think we have the time to risk her running. On the airship she cant start anything without consequences but of course neither can we. If anything Jackle is also proficient with theives tools so if Vanna is talking to her we could possibly search her quarters as well. I also have a crowbar for harder to open things but that should only be broken out if we're out of options. Im pretty much good for anything, just throwing my thoughts at the wall.
Also as well i have a theory. The Talenta halflings might have something to do with the Bromorro clan in Sharn. The halfling that ran could have been an informent and the clan have ties to the Talenta halflings. My thought is that the Lord of Blades hired the halflings but for what I'm not sure.

Hi all,
I did an audit of the contents of the Handy Haversack. I am removing the 5 bedrolls from it as they are the most cumbersome thing in there, please add them to your character sheets if you want yours, unless these were just extras? There is no more space for anything else if those are still in there. I have the money in my bags as we have too much. Unless we want the haversack ripping, which has happened to me in another campaign and absolutely SUUUUCKS then we need to cut down on some stuff. The keycharms don't have a weight but do take up space, do we really want them? There are also 80 arrows and 80 crossbow bolts- is anyone using these? Can I get rid of them?
Please let me know! I will put everything into a spreadsheet and share it here.

OOC: Thanks, Vanna & thanks, too, Jackle!
Random's two crowns on the Haversack: distribute the healing potions to the non-healers in the group. They're best used for emergency cram-the-potion-down-the-healer's-throat situations, and so they are at maximum effectiveness when already in the hands of non-healers. As to the rest of the contents--probably safe to ditch most or all of the mundane stuff. Random doubts that it will come up that often that the party will need that stuff--but maybe others think otherwise?

I'll take the goodberry wine and one of the lanterns. I picked up a personal bag of holding during downtime anyway.

On reflection - whatever we do, we should do before we reach Trollanport. Grilsha won't be able to change her disguise until we land, with how meticulous Captain d'Lyrandar seems to be about security and ensuring everyone is who they say they are. Once we land, however, she can change ships, or just leave, change her disguise, and buy a new ticket on the same ship under a different name.
