The Family of Light, as professed and disclosed unto us by the all-knowing, all-feeling Father Increase Sugarbaker. Penny thinks they serve Pelor, and her gnome community ships off workers and missionaries to helps spread the good word, she never quite questioned why dragon-like creatures are so interested in Pelor, but maybe their turning over a new direction, praise be! (It’s actually a cult that fuels the misdeeds of half-dragons, human wyrmkeepers, kobolds, and a smattering of devils, trying to release Tiamat. But Penelope doesn’t know that. Whoops!)

At this point I am looking to play a dwarven artificer who is obsessed with making a cataphract- basically an iron man golem suite. Bryan pointed out that in unearthed arcana there is cufrently a gauntlet class of artificer and this is the direction i am going in.

I would like us to not have any duplicate classes, if possible, and certainly no duplicate class/ path combinations. So far I have complete characters from Aileen and Stephen, and a partial one from Kyla. Please email me your character info as soon as you can.

backstory and appearance. Layton is a 27 year old man with sharp narrow green eyes and dark hair. He appears human till he stops squinting or someone notices his back. His back is filled with black iridescent snake scales that climb up to the back of his hair line. Due to a failed attempt on his life his eyes were damaged and has become far sighted as result, leaving him to need reading glasses in which he constantly breaks or loses. In his past he use to work for a large unknown country known as the empire and ever dutiful to his empires demands he became a noble woman's decorative wall flower and served her for years learning the machinations and habits of humans and the court, easily blending into high society and learning to don on many faces and personalities to appease people. Soon he developed a taste for a lot of human culture and when it came time to leave he refused enjoying freedom that being 'human' allowed him.

Spells: Cantrips: Mage Hand, light, ray of frost, mind sliver (UA) Level 1: catapult, find familiar, identify, shield, Tasha's Hideous Laughter. Background and Appearance: On the Astral Sea where the Gith make there home, the Gith do not age, so when a female gith becomes pregnant they head to a protected location on the prime material plane to lay their eggs and let their children grow up into warriors. One of these locations was near Sundabar in the Silvery Marches and by happenstance one day Nineteen years ago, the Gith compound was discovered. Members of the mercenary group The Bloodaxes were sent out to seize the Gith and bring them to the city in irons, but upon there arrival they found the compound uninhabited except for one gith infant, too small and sickly to be a threat to anyone. In fact, the child had seemingly been left because her delicate constitution meant that she would never be a warrior. Uncertain of what to do with her, (the orphanages of Sundabar we're unlikely to look fondly on having a gith in her mist) they decided to nurse her to health and raise her in the company as a sort of mascot. A few of the veterans started calling her "Sleep" because in her early days with the party as she recovered from whatever ailment afflicted her, she was so rarely awake. Sleep grew up happily enough, often telling people that she had fifty mothers and fifty fathers as every member of the company had a part in raising her. She was exposed to much of the wonderful and terrible things that happen in a Mercenary company. Once when looking for her Uncle Velkor, so he could read her a bedtime story; Sleep walked in on the senior officers torturing a young half-orc bandit for information. Sleep climbed into the man's lap and showed the quivering, bleeding victim how her toy dragon went rawrrr before allowing herself to be lead back to her bed. When she entered adolescence some thought was given to teaching her the way of the sword if only to help her work through the moodiness and angst that was quickly becoming a part of her personality. But she was just too weak and brittle. Instead, she threw herself into books, first into history and science and then into mathematics. when she was sixteen she became the first person in a decade to balance the company books. When she was seventeen she brokered a deal between the company and the city of Sundabar for access to the cities food stores. When she was Eighteen she found her first spellbook in the back of a thrift shop inside of a box that had been labeled "beware of panther". And now at nineteen, she sets out into the world, desperate to know more about magic and how she can use it to get ahead in life. Sleep also longs to visit the great Githyanki city of Tu'narath, but doesn't know how she would be received there. Sleep is 19. stands at 5 foot 9 and weighs 90 pounds. She has green reptilian skin, pointy ears, and purple hair that she combs forward so that one eye is covered. She has 3 (very new) tattoos on her shoulder, back, and ankle. she likes to read, draw and listen to bard groups. But not the bard groups you listen too, the really hardcore, underground bard groups that no one knows about. She is currently in a long-distance relationship with two different people, One a male human knight in his late 40's named Jaque D'winter. the other with a 10-year-old female goblin druid, named Pimbles.
