For the first time since opening we are raising our CCG prices for most games by approximately $1.00 per pack. While there have been previous cost increases we decided at those times to absorb them. We now have to bring our CCG profit margins in line with our other products, especially given how much we have tied up in inventory and how early we have to commit to new sets. We wanted to make everyone aware as we believe in full disclosure.
You may be aware that Wizards of the Coast is raising Magic product prices in September. Other manufacturers have already done so. We will evaluate at that tme whether our prices need to go up further or if we can absorb the new increase.
This current change should not affect event pricing or prizing at this time.
We are also continually evaluating ways to offer benefits and discounts for shopping and playing at Round Table Games.
