Kintargo. I never thought i would be back after what this city did to me. Even more so walking it as a free man instead of a slave with my symbol of Sarenra hidden under my shirt. Bless you Sister Krista. I went to the office asking for a name. A name i haven't spoken in so long. I know she's alive. I can feel it in my soul. The clerk looks at me odd, here eyes scanning my features before informing me that sadly their is no such person on the list of freed slaves or there where about's. I sigh, another dead end. I clutch my holy symbol under my robes as I wonder the streets lost in thought and out of leads, just hang on. Im so close. I just need to have faith that Sarenra will guide me to her even if it's a grave. As I reach the exit of the city Im startled out of my thoughts when I bump into someone ahead of me and fall to my rear. "Oh, terribly sorry! Let me give you a hand." I take a hand to see his wrists incased is bronze bangles as I grab his hand. "T-thank you. Terribly sorry." "No problem at all! Where might you be heading?" "To tell you the truth I honestly don't know. The clerk wasn't much help and now I'm afraid i don't know what to do with myself anymore." "well why don't you come with me! I heard theres a call for heroes in this fancy town, could be an excellent place to find work." I smile. "Sounds like a wonderful idea. My name is Arun Blacksun "And I am Farooq! Come! Let us go on this adventure to spread love and peace throughout Glorian! "Umm... yes!" ------------------
The journey was long and hard but we make it all the same. Despite living in the city I'm discombobulated by the amount of shops and places in town I don't even know where to start to find the call for heroes. Thankfully Farooq does so I follow him everywhere, lost in thought about my failed misson to find mother. After speaking to a worried goblin He leads me to a seat inside the town council. I cant catch up to what was being said till suddenly the smell of smoke filled the air. Fire sprouts from one corner of the room as little flying fire beasts flood the hall and begin to terrorize everyone. I run to the door throwing it wide as I help and calm scared mob out the door, my job just alittle bit harder with this lady at the other end doing the same but frightening these poor souls. "Dont listen to her, she's lying. You'll all be fine." I reassure them as more flock to my exit. With Farooq help and the medicour help from the other side everyone escapes except the representative. There search through the debre. "You need to get out. The fires getting wrost!" "Not until we make sure everones out!" "then let me help!" They don't rebuke me as i help lift burning boards, checking every nook and crany but it appears everyone is out just as the last monster dies to a blade. Then begins the fire bridage. Soon enough we all stand blackened and sooty in front of the building. Farooq turns to me with a jovial expression of glee. "We did it my friend! Put her there!" He raises his hands for a high five but as we clapse our hands together i made a terrible error. My sleeves to my black sweater rid up revealing scars, the scars of shackles and slavery. I quickly pull them away and hide them under my arm pits ashamed. I expect him to pitty me but instead he looks at me with sympathy and a profound understanding. He then procedes to remove a bangle to reveal the same scars as my eyes widen. "I finding wrist wear hides them better." I dont know what to say. It explains so much. He clasps it back on and holds out an elbow. "How about a high elbow." A ghost of my smile crawls to my lips as i touch elbows with him. "Thank you." "No problem! No problem at all!" I begin checking for injuries, wrapping wounds and clearing lungs, thanks to everyones quick thinking no ones seriously hurt. The calm of the moment is broken as blame is thrown and news of more in danger in the ruined remains of an old castle. One of the reps calls for peace before addressing the ones who helped in the efforts. She picks out me, Farooq, a half orc, a paladin, a druid, a ranger and that woman who was frenzying the panic mob. "I knew this would happen today! I saw it! Your gods wouldnt have saved you!" Oh boy.. Looks like will be working together to save the bumblebrashers.

After stopping a near murder of an innocent Goblin, the bumblebrashers leader we head back to town with squirrley halfling criminal in tow to not only bring him under the watchful eyes of the law but also prepare for the dive into the dungeons bellow Hell knight Citida. Theres not only a cult but it seems undead and a very upset bear. I told Farqoour to pick up some supplies once we reach town while i inform the towns scribe of his rogue apprentices hatred and betrayal and speak with the church of Densa to see if they sell some holy water. Im disappointed to learn that forgiveness is not in the scribes heart yet, Perhaps in the future. THe church of Densa treated me very well and i learned a few things while i was there. The head preist was a pleasant elf to speak to but he doesn't seem as interested in me so really have a long conversation with. Soon enough the party meets me at the church and i catch the paladin staring at my arm. "Are you injured?" I look down at my arm to see it's still bleeding. "Oh! That! Im sorry. I didn't want to bother. It doesn't hurt that bad." The paladin doesn't listen to me, she comes up to heal me and my arm healed. 'Thank you kind miss." I tell her, She snorts and marches off. After a good nights sleep we set off in the morning and reach the Citidal again. Before we approach the entrance were stopped by the paladin. She wants to comb the rest of the Citidal just to be safe. We agree and carry on further in. We find detailed infomation of the history of this place and clues on what the 'Ring" actually means. A few of my friends enter an office when i hear the sounds of combat. I rush to the door way to see a mosterous wolf bit at the paladin just as farqoour joins her. I cast a spell to bolster her armor but to my suprise instead of the wolf anomalistically targeting the paladin it goes after Farqoour who is unarmored. The wolf figths tooth and nail but it dies quick and hopefully painless. "I found somehting." I hear our druid friend call in the next room. I walk in to find she's holding two small puppies by their scruffs, their eyes barely open. Guilt eats away at my heart. We just killed their mother. They will definitly die if we leave them. "Can i hold them?" "Knock yourself out." She hands them to me as they snarl and growl in my arms. I speak to them calmly as one of my team hands me some food for them. "Its alright now. No one will hurt you here," I hold out the meat to them and they eat starved and greedy. Their attitude instantly changes. They yip, tails wagging, dancing playfully around my feet. I reach a hand out as they nuzzle and give it puppy kisses. "They might be wargs, that wolf was too smart." I pull the pups close to me as i sit on the ground with them. "If they are they are not beyond redemption. They are young. They can change their ways. I will not give up on them." I scoop them up in my arms, standing up. It's now my mission keep them safe til they are big and strong. "Do not worry little ones. I will keep them safe. Sarenra will shine her protection upon you. " We move on and are assaulted by a giant bat that savages Farqoour. Our rogue kills the rabid bat and with the danger clear i rush to his side and heal his wounds. He get up but he's still is not well. I take the time to bind his injuries as he looks far better. I feel confident that I've closed his wounds with what i have. Next room is a prison filled with the dead and lockers filled with strange vials and silver weapons. Farqoour goes to check it out and my heart stops when the dead suddenly rise, the pups snarling protectively in my arms.

WIth the help of Sarenra i helped destroy the animated skeletons as we continue to comb through the remains of the citidal. We found more documents of the hell knights and even hell knight temperary badges. No one wants to hold them so they are in trusted to me. While we combed through room after room we open a door to find a devilish looking man in black armor fighting off small hellspawns. he calls for us to help and we gather together and despatch these tiny feinds. He winks anf lirts with Diana but she is having none of his nonsense. Once the fighting is over we introduce ourselves to this questionable knight. His name is Alak Stagram, he inspires to one day be a hell knight himself. He is not a religious man but views the devils way of keeping law in a postive light. I cant agree with him. Thankfully he has no ties to the church of aedmodius. Everyone is suspiouse of him and i cant blame them. As much as everything from his outward apperance and goals of becoming one of them makes me want to hate him. To hate the order that helped keep me and my family slaves i can not. As a preist of Sarenra it is my sworn duty to find the good in others. Learning he's looking for artifacts of the hellknights i give him the badges. When he asks if we found anything else i gladly inform him much to the groups moans. They are no use to us and history is very important to an organization such as this. I would be ashamed to have their history lost, I've heard not all of their order are like the order of the rack or chain. Some have good men among them. Alak immediately warms up and he tells us more. He's really here looking for his families signet ring lost in the dungeons below. I share my condolence for i know the pain of losing family and offer him a hand to join us, he can reclaim any old hellknight relics for his order while finding his ring if he helps us drive out the Cinderclaws bellow. We join hands in this quest with a shared goal. Surely he wont causes anyone harm. I cant see him lying about something so important to him and he would get nothing to betray us in the dungeons. Together were a stronger force though i will keep an eye on him. He asks me about my pups, i finally came up with names while we were fighting the imps. The white one is SKoll, the black one Hati. there the two wolves that chase the moon and sun to devour. A story my mother once told me of. She said she learned it from my father who shares my looks and it comes from Nidal. A terrible place of darkness and pain. I hope i can change these monstrous names into something positive. I just hope i'm strong enough to protect their adorable lives. I get into a tangent with Alak, i much enjoy sharing the love and life of Sarenra with others and i sometimes become too passionate i forget others don't share my love for her, more importantly to a man dressed in admodus armor no less. He asks if i'm passionate. I don't know what to think of that. Im not exactly sharp when it comes to emotions. As we talk screams rise up as someone opens a cabinet. Thousand upon thousands of spiders swarm our feet as our druid tries everything in her power to burn the swarm. I hold my pups out of harms way as they bit at me. Alak is panicking, he's lashing at the swarm without reason. "We need to leave the room. Follow me friend!" I walk out of the room freeing our druid to burn away. Unfortunately alak doesn't run out in time, the swarm is just too intense. The swarm is destroyed but we have a new problem. Alak is still angry and he wants revenge for his pain. I get between him and the druid. "Please calm down. I can fix your wounds. She only did what had to be done." He huff and puffs but lets the healing magic of Sarenra to close some of his wounds. He appears to have calmed down till the half orc opens his mouth and continues to flap his lips. Alak now wants to pummel the poor half orc thug and now i sadly must let him. One must learn when to speak and when its time for silence and hes now stretched my limits. I shall try but nothing saves foolishness except knowledge and time. Time we don't have.

After fighting a pair of large snapping turtles of abnormal size The group decided to head back much to Alecs disappointed. Im disappointed as well but i have two adorable lives i must safe guard along with the groups and sadly my resources as also taped. I asked if he would like to come back with us and rest but he refused, wanting to start making progress into the lower levels. I wish he'd see sense that this is foolish to do alone but i respect his choices. We return to town with much hustling just as it gets dark. I finally bought collars for my small pups. Cant have them getting lost after all. I hear Mac is going to help the soup kitchen again. I would love to help but i have to get the little ones settled. They certainly are a handful. After booking a room for two, the moment i set them down they begin playing with each other as i watch making the room pup safe. Unfortunately I fail to save the beds legs from small pup teeth. I'm taken aback by the roughness of their play. They play like wild animals which is not a surprise but the way they play and cause mischief give me pause. Sometimes as i speak to them i feel like they understand what i say. Their ears prick as i call their names. I don't think much of it. It must be the wolf in them. Ive only been free for a short time and i never own a pet before except the masters animals but they were more keen on bitting me then receiving pets. All i did was throw meat at the dogs and hope i was fast enough. After a quick walk I pull them both onto the bed with me as we both fall asleep. The night went rather well. they pups curled right under my arm and they manage to sleep though most of the night. the walk must have done the trick. Mac came up to me before we go to the dungeon and offered a solution to my dilemma. the pups are too young to travel into these dangerous dungeons and i cant have my arms full should a situation turns sour. With a heavy heart i go to the keepers to board my pups for the day. My mind tells me im going the right thing. It's irresponsible to put their lives in danger but my heart wants them with me. I know them both so well at this point. Will they hate me for leaving them. The door clicks as the shop keeper looks at me and sees my pups. Her brows furl. "What re those?" I look at her confused. "there my pups. I need to board them though." She gives them a long hard look but eventually shrugs. "how long?" "Just a day. I'll be back for them by evening or tomorrow, it will be hard to tell the time where I'll be going but hopefully quick." "Very well then that will be a few coppers." I hand them to the woman but i look at the pups again and i hesitate pulling out a silver as well. "Please take extra care of them. Their just babes after all and this will be their first time alone. I'll give you a silver as well." Her eyes gleam as she takes my money. "There dogs sir. Im sure they'll be fine." "Can i say goodbye?" She sighs but lets me. I hold them up looking into their eyes. "Im going away for a few hours but it's too dangerous to come with me. You be nice to this woman and her helpers ok. No nipping. I will come back for you both and if your good i bring you both a big ham. Im not leaving you here. Daddy love you both very much. Don't be sad. I'll be back before you know it." They both give me kisses and i can feel my will crack. "Oh goddess, take them before i change my mind." I sniffle as she takes them to the pens as both pups watch me. I wait for them to be out of sight before i depart. I hope they'll be alright. --------
I was beaten very badly by two giant birds with bright feathers. After plucking them for our druid i found they each have a nasty tail spine, the culprit of my beatings. Moving along we fought some frog men which don't put up much of a fight. I wonder how far Alec has gotten into the complex?

So far we've been fighting off monkey men and toad men in this complex. No cultists or undead so far. Makes me feel relieved. The dead are terrifying tragic beings that must be put down by Sarenra holy fire. We soon come across the door that Bumble the bear is kept. I give my words of warning but the group appears to want to try and calm the bear so he can be transported outside. Unfortunately the moment the door is open Bumble is indeed very mad and very hungry. He simply ate the sausage and then tries to eat the new barbarian we met. I think his name is William. After a bit of a scuffle we knock bumble out cold and then release poor bear out into the wild. farooq wanted to take him to the Bumblebrashers but theres just no time. We carry on, rough up some frog and monkey men and head down deeper into the complex. We stumble upon a massive underground cemitary dedicated to the Hellknights Order of the Nail. I wonder if Alec has gone in this direction? I hear the grating of stone and to my horror the Barbarian has his massive hands all over the stone sarcofficiouses. "What are you doing!? You going to piss off the undead here!" "There might be good stuff her." Im speechless. "They belong to the dead. Not only are you disrespecting these fallen warriors. Your going to rall up the dead." "There not using it anymore, besides there hellknights." "Not all hellknights are cut from the same cloth." All my words fall to deaf ears as each lid is moved and raided of the bodies magical items. I lean against the wall with Farooq. I will not be apart of any of this. it might be because i now know a hell knight but also they may not share my beliefs but the fallen knights deserve respect. Taking their items feels dirty. When the raiding is done we move onto the next room when a loud cry goes out. "Arun! Get in here! Theres floating skulls shooting nails!" Cries Diana. Undead! I try to get into the room but theres just too many people. Some mill about through the open arch way and another cry screams out. "Skeletons this way!" What! Now oh drat! Not good, not good at all. I finally get to the door way of the floating skulls and i arrive to see then drop poor Chee and Farooq. I begin to channel Sarenra dvine might and it feels like it cant happen fast enough. A dying bard in one room, two dying companions in the other! Finally i feel it and raise my holy symbol aloft. The skulls begin to burst into powder as my friends rise again, still wounded but awake. With our combined might and Chees burning hands we destroy the skull and turn back to the skeletons who Diana and Willam have rushed to engaged. We clean house quickly soon after the leader is destroyed. Im left signing with relief. That was close. Too close. We search the room as i patch up the grievous wounds of my companions. The barbarian has claimed the halbert and some gold and potions are found when Suddenly a door opens ahead and out steps Alec. "Hi buddy!" "What happened here?!" "Oh you know, undead, skeletons. A lot of them." "huh, i walked though here just fine. Say, could you lot still help me find my ring. It's a bloody big place." "Sure." Following him we search the room ahead when i find a small box." "Is this it?" I ask handing it to him. He opens it and inside is a ring. He takes it out of the box and slides it on his finger as he flexes his hand. I step back waiting for him to speak. This seems like a personal moment. "This ring use to belong to my father. I remember it when i was a boy, sitting on his knee." He turns back to us. "You've done me a great service. I'll help you in this misson."
